About Noolpuzha Grama Panchayat

Noolpuzha Grama Panchayat is one of the ecologically significant regions of Kerala, blessed with rich biodiversity and unique natural landscapes. The villages surrounded by the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary are a distinctive feature of Noolpuzha. The cultural heritage and traditions of the tribal communities are still actively practiced and preserved here.

Extensive paddy fields and plantation crops such as pepper, dry ginger, cardamom, and coffee enrich the agricultural sector of Noolpuzha. Sharing borders with Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, the Panchayat enjoys the cultural harmony, interaction, and mutual sharing among Malayalam-, Tamil-, and Kannada-speaking communities.

Although human–wildlife conflicts occur occasionally, the friendship and unity among people rise above caste, religion, and political ideologies.
