Organizational Structure
Noolpuzha Grama Panchayat was established as per G.O. MS (B) 421/68 dated 02.09.1968. Prior to its formation, this region was part of Nenmeni Panchayat and Bathery Panchayat. When it was under Sulthan Bathery Panchayat, P. C. Ahamed Haji served as the President, and when it was under Nenmeni Panchayat, K. S. Kurup was the President.
Noolpuzha Panchayat officially came into existence in 1971. At that time, the nominated governing body was headed by Mathew V. John as President.
In the election held in 1980, K. G. Thankappan became the President. Later, in the 1988 election, he stepped down and Mary Mathew was elected as President.
From 1995 to 2000, Sreedharan served as President. Subsequently:
- K. Rugmini served from 2000 to 2005
- A. K. Kumaran served from 2005 to 2010
- Suma Bhaskaran served from 2010 to 2015
- Shobhan Kumar served from 2015 to 2020
- Sheeja Satheesh served from 2020 to 2025
At present, Jaya M K is serving as the President of Noolpuzha Grama Panchayat.
