Noolpuzha PHC
Within the jurisdiction of Noolpuzha Grama Panchayat, there are 216 tribal colonies functioning under the service area of Noolpuzha Family Health Centre. The Panchayat is predominantly inhabited by small-scale farmers and agricultural laborers, and the Noolpuzha Family Health Centre is the only institution in the Panchayat providing allopathic medical treatment.
Through the leadership of the Family Health Centre, numerous innovative projects have been implemented, transforming it beyond an ordinary health institution into an advanced facilitation center that ensures quality healthcare and strengthens public trust and confidence in health protection services.
Several innovative initiatives have been introduced, including:
- Open Gymnasium for improving immunity and fitness
- Antenatal Care Programmes
- “Gothra Sparsham” Tribal Health Project
- Geriatric Healthcare Services
- Dental Care Services
- Evening OP Services
Through these innovative programmes, the institution achieved the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) Certification with scores of 98% and 93.5%, securing first place at the national level in 2019 and 2022.
