Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary
The villages surrounded by the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary are a unique feature of Noolpuzha. The cultural heritage and traditions of the tribal communities are still actively practiced and preserved here.
Extensive paddy fields and plantation crops such as pepper, dry ginger, cardamom, and coffee enrich the agricultural sector of Noolpuzha. Sharing borders with Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, this region enjoys the cultural harmony, interaction, and mutual sharing among Malayalam-, Tamil-, and Kannada-speaking communities.
Although human–wildlife conflicts occur occasionally, the bond and friendship among people remain strong, rising above caste, religion, and political ideologies.
